How do I add/edit pages?

  1. Log in to the admin panel at http://uss-ulysses.com/site/wp-admin/
  2. Click on pages – this will take you to a list of pages that you can view or, if you are an author of the page, you can edit it
  3. At the top of the page, click ‘Add New’. (If creating a bio page, duplicate the Bio Template page and edit the duplicate page)
  4. Add a page title
  5. Create your page using the standard editor
  6. Ensure you set yourself as the Author in the right-hand menu
  7. Save as a draft
  8. Ask a member of the Command Authority to review and publish your page

How do I write/edit posts?

  1. Log in to the admin panel at http://uss-ulysses.com/site/wp-admin/
  2. Click on posts – this will take you to a list of posts that you can view or, if you are an author of the post, you can edit it
  3. At the top of the page, click ‘Add New’
  4. Add a post title
  5. Create your post using the standard editor
  6. Make sure you select the correct mission for the post to display in under the ‘Categories’ section of the right-hand menu
  7. Ensure you set yourself as the Author in the right-hand menu
  8. If the post is a Joint Post, include all necessary Authors or they will not be able to edit the post
  9. Fill in the Character Data by adding all PC, NPC and PNPC characters that appear in the post
  10. Fill in the Timeline Data by picking the appropriate Mission Day and Time
  11. Save as a draft until you, and all other involved Authors are happy with the post’s contents
  12. Ask a member of the Command Authority if you have any queries BEFORE you publish the post
  13. ONLY publish when everyone is happy that the post is completed
